Still exploring these icy places...wanted to send this in before running out for the day's errands. These take forever to cook...this was about 8 or 10 hours, but another one of them is really challenging me. I couldn't really see the preview...it was so slow to generate, so I clicked on render and walked away. That was Feb 1 a 2:20 a.m. (well, maybe I crawled away at that hour)...anyway, 82 hours later and it's at 48%....heck, it's almost done!

Well worth the rendering time I would say. I fear for the bubbles, or are they made of ice too? A true very cold feel to this one..

Very impressive image with super transparency. I hope your brew turns out well after all the waiting.

Whoa, now that IS a long render. This is really, really beautiful. Great colors. I wonder it those spikes pop those spheres if they roll. It's magical.

I'm another one who wonders why your bubbles don't go 'Pop'in that spiky icefield Danise. Must be some newly developed polymer, the result of 10-hours render times. As for the one on its way at what looks like being 160+ hours -- Damn, but you'd best patent it.

Pretty! Cool mats!

Fascinating effects!

I love spheres, orbs, balls, balloons, and this one sure fits the bill. It must be glass, traveling very gently over those shapr ice points .. OR .. maybe it's an alien city, and those glass/ice orbs are invaders from another place, rolling over and assimilating this world .. beautiful translucent orbs .. wondrous reflecitons ...
