Description

Hi, everyone! Here’s another in-between-renders photo upload! I’m currently working on about 3 different pieces (my usual method of operation LOL), and hope to finish and upload one before my vacation ends this weekend L. I just bought Bice-Outoftouch’s Blue Soul hair (Blue Soul? VERY creative, ladies LOL!) Now that I’ve got the right hair and the textures from shareCG, I’ll try to do a decent Neytiri render – but only if I can do her justice – flying on a banshee, or something….. But I digress….. I took this several years ago at Loose Park in Kansas City – back when I was still using film and processing / printing in my own darkroom. Anyway, I chased this blasted bee around for 20 minutes, trying to get a decent photo of him/her. My wife was sure I was going to get stung, but the bee was far too intent on lunch to pay much attention to that silly human and his camera. I finally caught him in a hover as he approached his dining destination. As always, THANKS for all your comments, ratings, favs, and support!

So this is where the idea of the music, 'Flight of the Bumblebee came from... someone chasing a bee around, trying to take its picture. Great shot

We had a challenge a year or so ago, to use one-use cameras using film and it really reminded all of us who took the challenge, just how difficult it is/was to shoot photos that had to be processed. This is excellent!

What were you doing in Kansas City Rod? Perhaps living there? I live a mere 35 miles from there. At any rate, glad you've posted this...both flower and bee:) Well done. Hope your vacation is going great.

Very beautiful and colorful Rod! Nice contrasts. So you used to develop your own eh? Cool. I was seriously thinking about getting into that when I had the right environment but then along came digital photography. LOL-I have done that many times myself - chasing a bee or butterfly or something that just will not sit still. I see you are a man of MANY talents. Excellent job.

LOL...well, I don't think I can outdo Bazza's comments!! But I know that Mike tends to take off trying to catch a bee, a butterfly or a naked fairy....sigh...what is a wife to do? Nice capture!!!
