Description
While I'm recuperating, I thought I'd better do a little different work to get back some of the skills I lost. This is just an idea I had written down long ago and thought I'd flesh it out. Post work in Photoshop. Each figure was rendered on a separate layer, and then internal shadows were added to get the effect you see. Also took advantage of the lighting effects in Photoshop as well. Maybe I'll flesh this out completely in the future. For now, it's just an exercise to help me get back in the stride of things.

Fine stuff, Plas! I've always been mad for comix (and believe me, we had some COMIX back in the 1950s, before the Code came into play), and this has all the desired elements! Rolling eyeballs, blackouts, scantily-clad babes, soulless monsters intent on mayhem; what more could one ask? As a good pal and colleague says, "Muwahahahahahahaha!"

This is beyond cool and I'm so glad you took the time to bring this idea you had long ago to life. Sort of reminds me in a way of a mix between the old Sally Forth comic strip and the Venture Brothers cartoon. GREAT WORK

Thanks for the comments. I think that this still needs something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think the main image with the robot coming up from behind needs a little more in it. Maybe some cables or pipes.
