Description


These two very different species were sharing this thistle flower one day last Fall when I wandered by, camera in hand. They formed an uneasy truce, working their way around and around the flower staying the same distance apart and facing the same direction the entire time ... like they were keeping an eye on each other. Just thought I'd post another picture from Summer to bring back some memories of warmer days, and perhaps provoke some wistful thoughts of the days to come.
