Before I even bother to comment, I have to say that the title to this piece made me laugh for really obscure reasons. Three of them. 1.) The X-Files is one of my favorite television series, and so the "x" shape always reminds me of it. 2.) Mark Snow composed the music for the series and the two spin-off movies, and so seeing "X-Snow" just makes me think of that show. And 3.) By pure coincidence, as I write this, I'm listening to the soundtrack to X-Files: I Want to Believe which played in theaters when I was in Prague. I have yet to see the movie, but I know what the music sounds like. WOW. Okay, onto the comment now that I've ranted on a bit: This is gorgeous and I love the contrast between the solid wood and the delicate crystals of snow/ice. The details are amazing and the sense of color is subtle, like a dream that you only partly remember when you wake up. This is gorgeous! It's making a trip into my favorites.
