Description
Trajan's Kiosk, part of the incredibly beautiful Temple of Philae in Egypt.
Philae, being accounted one of the burying-places of Osiris, was held in high reverence both by the Egyptians to the north and the Nubians to the south. It was deemed profane for any but priests to dwell there and was accordingly sequestered and denominated "the Unapproachable" {source - Wikipedia]
I greyscaled the pic from my 2009 holiday albumn and framed it with lots of little jewelled scarab beetles.
PS: Have just changed galleries for the pic ;)
