I'd say for sure you accomplished your goal too. One of the great gifts of the old masters was their ability to make you believe that their work could jump right off the page at you and start breathing. Here, I can assure you, you can almost feel the grime from the smokestacks on your skin. Beautifully done!!

Old England .. amazing. The mood is marvelous, a brooding, dark mood. I think you've captured that "Old Masters" feel quite nicely. Not just here, but even in your sci fi images.
