Time to update... it's been a few years...
I don't do as much "art" as I used to. Now I make a lot of content, but don't release it. The act of creation has become more important than the adoration of the masses (yeah, right - grin). Or I can just be lazy when it comes to doing packaging, and a bit tired of no one likeing my promos.
Ah well...
I'm 50, almost 51. I've lived with William for almost 18 years, and I wouldn't change a thing. We've got 2 dogs, Butch and Precious. What names do you expect me to come up with? I admit it, I'm a steriotype. I prefer to think of myself as a Classic though.
I'm retired (medical), and sell my stuff to make a little money for smokes and toys. I bought myself a Robbie the Robot as an early birthday present for myself. I also have become addicted to the Japanese anime series "Naruto". Don't ask. I don't know why.
The best thing in my online life is the friends I've made with other Daz PA's and the rest of our little community. I'll probably never see them face to face, but they've all been supportave of my work, my opinions, and my warped and perverted sense of humor.
I read... a lot. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett. He's one of those authors who write well, write funny, and if you look, you can learn something about the world and yourself with very little effort.
I have a number of offline friends around the country. A few call me every day, so I spend lots of time on the phone. I blame a bit of my low release rate on them. I mean, really, I can't be totally at fault.
I live in the most beautiful and liberal city in the United States, Portland Oregon. If you come into town, let me know and I'll get you a Starbucks.

A truly beautiful and moving and touching render, Jim. Perhaps the recent Catholic scandal in the news had something to do with it. We all pray it never happens again. This one gets my highest rating...a 10! ;)

Great expression... dead on!

This is quite a good piece. I heard a report this morning that the larger diocese and, of course, the Vatican, are turning their backs on small, rural (poor) churches that cannot afford the legal costs for the litigation against molester priests. It is, to me, quite a screaming example of how disgusting our capitalist society is that the Church will not even fund its own members when they are in legal jeopardy. I do not condone child molestation and feel these priests should be tried like any other citizen for their crimes, but find it very grotesque that the Vatican would not offer financial support to those of their own who cannot afford to pay for their own legal defense. Maybe we should pray for humanity to mature enough to get over the failed capitalist/montheistic/petroleum-based system and evolve into something more...human.

this is EXCELLENT work!! and i don't think its a BAD thing when people make controversial work - S* I think Poser has much greater potential for fine, thought-provoking work (such as this) than many of us chose to use it for =)

Certainly brings back the memories from younger days of the good priest and all his good works :). Well done!
