Description

Bryce6,1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape3.3 A re-working of one of my previous posts("Hear the Ruins Speak").Figure is Michael3 base, with a combination of Marauder,Wildenlander and Scout outfits and a skin mat from The Men Of The Year set(all from Daz3D and posed in DazStudio)Face morphs are my own.Robot is a poseable model built completely in Bryce6.1,using preset textures. The ruins are templates created in Photoshop and applied to terrains, with a modified texture using a rust photo from CGTextures. The sky, lighting and atmo are all custom, the terrain texture is a modified texture from Daz's Seriously Real Materials 5-6.Post in Photoscape involved a levels adjustment and slight bloom effect,in Photoshop I added my signature. Thanks for taking the time to view, and commenting if you do!

Very nice sci-fi image with a post-apocalyptic theme. I really like the Bryce-created robot. Great use of multiple software applications to pull everything together (I'm tempted to start using DazStudio more often). Nicely done!!!

Great to see your robot in use. Excellent modeling there. The scene is wonderful - great atmosphere of recent destruction. Nicely done throughout.

Excellent image, Neil. The robot's face definitely has a sense of "what happened here?", and the rest of the scene accentuates the feeling very well.

Interesting outfit, original mix. I would say again what I said regarding another image of yours: the fact that you use M3 with the default face morphs (or very close) is not good, IMO. Don't forget that all of us have seen M3 default face morphs thousands of times. Imagine that you saw a digital character in a Hollywood movie with the M3 face. It would look weird to see such a well known face in a different environment, it wouldn't look convincing and it would look as if the producer didn't want to spend that extra buck to make it different. :-) I really like the robot. Very nice how you gave it a surprised expression just by playing with the body language.
