Great capture! I always feel a little confused when the water is on the "wrong" side, too. All those years of mountains east and west and water to the west. Anything else seems weird!

Oh, I'd most certainly get that feeling...Lake Michigan is east so if I ever see a large body of water with the sun setting over it, I'd feel that extreme and surprised confusion as well...or I'd think I was on some planet with retrograde rotation, like Venus (only I wouldn't go to Venus in its current, super-hot and inhospitable condition.) I love the treatment of this photo, the tones are wonderful and you captured that sunrise/sunset vibe perfectly. I love the starkness of it. This is gorgeous work!
