Description

Good news!: My muse has awakened and I am working on another Poser render. But here is another camping related photo revealing just a bit more about me and my personal side: As I mentioned in my last upload my wife and myself have been avid campers since the early 80's. Though I do sometimes cook at home - french onion soup has been my recent kick - normally my wife does most of the cooking. We eat better that way - LOL. But when we go camping the roles reverse and I do nearly ALL the cooking - usually over an open fire. That's my preferred way to cook. My wife affectionately refers to me as her ranger - LOL. We enjoy seeing the responses we get when we tell people of how we rough it when camping. Below are a few samples of our standard fare. The top left is Maine lobster (best lobster in the world). The bottom left is a leg of lamb slow cooking over the fire. Note: I apologize for the poor presentation of the rack-of-lamb. It was cold that night and I had to hurry because dinner was cooling rapidly. Thanks for all your past comments and support.

Oh yeah!!! I am SOOO looking forward to camping in a few months!! And yes, people, we eat VERY well when camping. And Mike also cooks a perfect roast beef over the fire too. I don't know how he knows when it's perfect, but he does. And that lobster has me drooling!!!! Get out the melted butter!!!

HOLY..... !!!!!! This is roughing it??? Man, I'm moving to NH just so I can go 'roughing it' with you! Holy cow! That looks absolutely mouth-watering! I've been camping a few times, but I've never had lobster and rack of lamb - this looks like something from a 5-star restaurant! You are a man of many talents, yourself! I am impressed (I'm also a foodie if you haven't noticed LOL). So when do we get to see you on Iron Chef? Delicious!!

And I see the lobster was served with Sam Adams and a shot of fine whiskey, cannot tell if it is burbon or Scotch.
