The snow looks very thick amongst the needles. I hope you have a warm spot.

Lol! I love pictures of snow, I just hate having to dig out of it:-) Perfect capture, love the design created by the needles and the little pinecone peeking out from behind!

Show pictures are always fun, and yours all have these nicely surprising splashes of color in them. You do winter shots incredibly well! I love the lively green pine needles in this, and the snow looks fluffy...good for photographing, but bad for snowball fights and building snowmen. Oh well...At least it makes for a gorgeous photograph. Whenever I see shots like this, I always wonder what kind of snow I'm seeing. In Eskimo culture, there are hundreds of different words for snow, each describing a different kind of snow, and whenever I think of that, I find myself wondering just how much richer the world would be if everyone else had hundreds of different words for hundreds of variations of one thing! But anyway, I am rambling. This is an amazing photograph. I really like the sharpness and the clarity, and that small pine cone hiding behind the pine needles, peeking out at you.
