Life sux.
I lost everything on my hard drive & no back up.
All gone. All my art, all my content.
What is worst are the gifts I've been given are gone & are irretrievable.
All the 'buy one get ones' too.
I can download some of my latest purchases
from here, but many are no longer available.
I put this together with what I was able to save.
All my morphs are gone & Lydia was the only one I could get back.
Mcafe failed to protect my pc & told me on the phone "sorry bout that Ma'aaam'. But nothing we can do. I thought they said if I lose my programs, they would replace them. Well? That's why I paid for the piece of... & they really did not go out of their way to be nice to me, either.
So they can stick it.
Anyway, that's why I'm late in getting to the galleries. I've just been too sick in the gut to face today. But I'm going to make a new start out of pretty much nothing. One good thing?
After reinstalling Windows again from the (THANK GOD I HAD THE) disc, my pc runs like a racehorse.
;)
Still... it really, really sux.

angel you know i will assist you in every way i can ,you can reach me almost 24/7. and i tell you once more and i tell everybody here,get away from security suites wich are expensive and suck on the ressources and at the end you have lesser support or none at all,like sorry ma'am my ass. i work since years with avast free in dual watching (wich normally you should not do but in this case it works)aira av on the side.no conflicts between these 2 av scanners. and search and destroy. i work on 2 workstations and 2 laptops .and ute has her own workstation. and we had no issues with viruse ever. well maybe we dont visit the nasty sites like you people muahahahahaha. a couple of trojans and they got exterminated . and i have all my files for installing all i ever downloaded on 2 externals plus on each main workstation is a partition with the complete install packs also. wich means i have 5 backups wich i sync every 2-3 days (in between my renderwork yes i am a busy guy hehehe.) anyway enough showing off my ego and i repeat angel what ever you need i will be here for you. hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh Angel this is terrible news after all the work you put into your morphs and so on. Had something similar happen too I used to make 3D models for a program called Trainz and got a virus that destroyed a lot of my models I was working on or had made, I was gutted.. so know how you feel. Like Rene I have avast on my computer I model on as well as spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-aware.. so far so good.. I have my downloaded zips etc on an external drive and most on DvD... Love the image you have done too..

That does sux! I'm so sorry to hear you lost all your beautiful work. I know that Rendo and Daz3D make the downloads available again, but a lot of places dont unless you pay for it. Beautiful image and very moving after reading your comments! I wish I could do something to help.

Oooooooooh CRAP!!!! I really feel for you Angel. I know how devastating that is. Happened to me a few years back, Harddrive failed lost everything :( So soul destroying. At least your art is safe on RR (not hi res, but still a record of what you have achieved so far)

Oh, I am so sorry for you! That has happened to me, too, a few years ago. It is so sad, and such a terrible feeling, almost like having your house destroyed. The render expresses the feel very well. If you bought things at R'ocity or DAZ, you can probably re-download them. You have my sympathy, sweet friend!

Ouch! I can never understand the virus writers - what twisted brains love destroying other people's work? Bizarre!! But as alessimarco says, you still have your talent (in abundance)... as this image testifies. Cheapest way to backup your content is to CD/DVD. I'm off to do that right now!
