oh, i love this. it looks like an earth elemental, but the colors are all fire. i like how the being merges with the mountain, which becomes architectural and sculptural around the sorcerer. the structures flanking him look sort of like the gargoyles atop skyscrapers, and imply that he's imposing his will on the natural structure of the mountain. the eagles add the element of air. this is an impressively diverse and complex piece, especially since it has such a limited palette.
