Description
The Large Grey Bridge and the Little Red Lighthouse.... George Washington Bridge - spanning the Hudson River between Manhattan and New Jersey. Apparently there is a children's story written about the bridge and the lighthouse! I have up to now been unable to lay me hands on a copy! I captured this image while on a boat tour arpound Manhattan in 2007!!! It is quite a sight to see!

Used to live about 25 miles from there. Great shot of painting time for the east tower (think that's the side I am looking at?).

Wow, I wonder how many Erector sets were used to construct that goliath! Actually, as bridges go, it looks unfinished. I would think there would be solid facade covering it. Nonetheless, superlative POV and detail in this photograph, Carin!
