Description

This image took me longer to realize than any other I've done so far. Since January 13 I work on this on and off - and my only problem where the clothes. When I got Lu for Maddie I knew that she has to play the major role on a greeting card for dear people's birthday. It didn't took me long to find a nice pose, typical for little children and two fellows to bear her company. But then it came to choosing the right clothes and the only things I could find where conforming ones. I will keep a long story short by telling you that none of the dresses I own follow the typical poses of children like they should. In other words: If Maddie would be a real girl she would whine: "The dress is goofy, it is stiff, it itches, I don't like it..." and do her best to make it dirty so that she's allowed to change it. ...and then Fabi came and gave little 3d-girls a soft and comfortable dress, the one you see here. And as you see little Lu is not tearing on it or trying to get some stains - she's well behaving and sitting there with her cat and her teddy waiting for me to get the render done. Thanks Fabi, you really know what little 3d-girls want to wear ;o)) Technical: Millenium cat, hair (Digital Curls) and Lovey bear by DAZ. The dress was posed during a 30 frame simulation. Very few postwork to fix a poke-through that appeared by posing the collarm in a very extreme way. Altered settings where used for the Millenium cat: A different material system for the eyes to let them look less dull and a bump map to achieve at least a little illusion of fur.
