Ever been greeted by a Monkfish before?
Think how many thousands of boatloads of fish have covered these iced down display cases. When I first visited this very counter in this exact same location, the year was 1971.

Well Holy Mackerel I have never seen a monk fish and not one that can write and escape the market.. Nice shot of this array of fish, might look good in our fish tank though lol.. Superb capture Bill

We would catch these as kids and only save the tail half. Didn't taste bab at all. The head half was like holding a glob of jello. I would have never thought that they work sell in a fish market - especially whole. Dana
