Description
officially now it was 12 1/2 inches of snow. I went out to let my dogs out and Eve was eating her dog biscuit and part fell in the snow. she was rooting around like a pig trying to find the lost part.after finding it, Bodie came over to look also.both of them were close to my oak tree and snow fell off hitting Eve. both jumped and ran , then Eve turned around looking at the tree.like she was thinking what did I do to you for you to dump snow on me?the snow is an easy 12 inches on my roof.hopefully it will not damage the roof.I was outside at 6:15 am
I got my wish of a heavy snow storm.I took a lot of pictures yesterday so I will be sharing
thanks for looking and any comments

Wow! 12 inches in Texas! We got 10 here in Michigan, Richard. Now you can freeze your butt off, too, lOL!

That is certainly a lot of snow for the area! Don't imagine there are high quantities of snow plows around. I imagine the birds are confused?

I love it when stuff like that happens with my dogs...they are so fun to watch! lol Thanks for sharing Richard...and cool picture here!! Our snow is very close to being gone. We usually get a whopper of a storm in February...but this year its been so odd and we got snow real early and then none when everyone else was getting it so who knows! lol

A super capture, they probably don't know where to go the poor things. It must be very confusing for all the animals and it is surely a heavy fall for you. I hope your power stays on and that your roof stands the weight.

Looks like something out of Alfred Hithcock's "Birds". Awesome shot. We got 25" of snow last Saturday and about 24 more on Tuesday/Wednesday. I'll be shoveling til April. Snowball fights in June?

"The birds, the birds, He rises!" Is Moby Dick not far behind?

Interesting weather ... and I hope those seagulls come through this in fine fettle. So far no snow in Tucson ... although the surrounding mountains have gotten tons. We can use all the precipitation we can get.

Poor animals during when it snows. Aloha

I had to look for the seagulls, they're almost lost up there! So much for my plan to winter in Texas, It's sounds just like home lol.

It's cool how you captured the individual flakes of snow. Hard to do. Now you'll have to dig your car out from all that snow!
