Description

The Mermaid Pond is home to the spectacular Centenary Fountain. With a maximum height of 160ft it is the highest powered fountain in England. While the house itself is hidden from view until you almost get to the gates, the fountain can be seen from miles around. It was created in 2005 to celebrate 100 years of the Roper family at Forde Abbey.

Wonder if the Roper Family has room for one more? A very interesting way to celebrate an anniversary. Well done:)
