I guess my fascination with electricity related scenes is that I know so little about it yet it's infrastructure is all around us. It's truly man's "Silent Servant". Excuse me, -- "Silent Domestic/Commercial Worker".

My guess is that your picture is of a three phase Circuit Switcher. From the insulator stacks I would also guess that it a fairly old installation. Nice photo!

Most interesting photo! Being a collector of old insulators, I had to check this out! I thnik the black and white is perfect for this shot. I think Vokee is right - it does look like a 3-phase switcher - too cool!
