interesting take there. The person looks like an origami person which is cool too sort of a stylized person.

VERY cool design! One small suggestion though - if this were a real work pod that I had to use, that bar down the middle of the front window would drive me nuts - it would be right in my center of vision, blocking my view of whatever I was working on. Eliminating that would enhance the realism. Other than that, I really love this design. Is this going to be a product for sale?

I like it! However, I do agree with Redhorse, that center bar would obstruct a bit too much. I hope to see more of this!

Very Nice render. I agree with Redhorse and Madbat, you should remove that center bar, it should help the guy inside to see a lot better! It reminds me of the Pod in the intro Stracraft movie. When they are going in the field of junk.

Thanks for the comments about the bars obscuring the cockpit, everybody. I agree that it should be removed. In modeling the pod, I used existing parts acquired from others. In my zeal to get the overall look of the pod right, I overlooked the cockpit visibility issue. The inspiration for the pod are those work pods seen in "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "2010: The Year We Make Contact." The origami-looking person is probably a stock figure from a TrueSpace model library. I knocked the polygon count down on the figure to get its file size small resulting in its faceted appearance.

Again, excellent. A believable design. I like the centre bar - it makes the windows look cool and adds to the pod's insect-like appearance.
