A nice warming image from Catalunya, Rozanne. It suggests that 2010 might be more of a summer and less of the perpetual late autumn / late winter of 2009 in these latitudes. It reminds us that somewhere the sun is shining, not hidden by a leaden sky, or even more threatening snow and ice. Remarkably I have not seen a single daffodil this year. They are usually popping out between Christmas and the New Year. To make matter even worse, I spotted some geese heading north last week, and wondered what they might know that we don't.. Today was cold, damp, and even my television reception was bad too ( and that was without the local tribe of magpies perched on the communal aerial .. ;o).
