Description

This morning they imploded the 1515 Condo in downtown West Palm Beach...The Condo was ravished beyond repair by the hurricanes of '04 & '05..I stood on the Palm Beach Bridge for two hours in the cold but it was well worth it..It's an amazing thing to behold!

I love watching these too. Not that I have seen one in real life. All those people on the boats got a great view.

WOW! I love shaped explosions. I'm always amazed at how they're able to do stuff like this, but I'd hate to be standing at the load-bearing center of that building, since all of the shrapnel and explosive bits have to go somewhere, and since it's shaped explosions, guess where the damaging gunk goes? Anyway, enough of that. I love this shot! It's something photographers the world over would absolutely pay to capture! Marvelous.
