Description

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my art. I really do appreciate all the comments and views. The rains have stopped here for a while and what a way to spend the day at the beach and at the Legion of Honor Museum grounds with our unseasonably warm weather. This photo is taken on the grounds of the Legion Of Honor grounds. The sculptor George Segal created this work entitled The Holocaust. The memorial is at the location of the Legion of Honor and overlooking the Bay at Lands End. Segal is considered an important figure in the Pop Art movement which includes Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
