west of central park..7th ave..it was coming down so beautifully.. thanks everyone for the previous viewings/comments I played with an HDR-ish filter here..to make it more emphatic

This is quite amazing. It has a kind of Soviet Lomo feel to it, not quite as garish, but that darkened fringe really makes me think of Lomography, or whatever they're calling the art of taking lomo pictures these days. Aside from that, this is a brilliant and inspired piece of work. I love the vibe of it, the washed out color that has that feel of washed out urban grayness itself...only it's not depressing like urban winter and yeah, I like this a lot. I don't like snow, when it's gray and slushy but the urban snow in this is amazing with one of the coolest snow textures I've seen in a long time. This is GOOD stuff! As always.
