Description

I had a bad case of cabin fever, so I went out and grabbed a few nice shots. In the snow, of course. These very large pines stand on a hilltop pasture near me. They must be incredibly tough, since they get maximum exposure to wind and lightning. They are also striking with Spring-green grass and blue sky, which I will show you if Spring ever gets here! Wow...how unusual that there are only six trees on this hill/ridge. Intriguing! And I agree with bmac62...they do remind me of masts on a stalwart ship.
