Description

Tesseract: hypercube unravelled Below the image you can see the two 3D representation of the 4D hypercube. And I included the unravelled 3D cube for clearity. The reason for triple S in the title is that I wanted to make it with sub-surface scattering, but didn't look good. Made with 3dsmax4, rendered with finalRender.

really interesting... hypercubes have been on my mind a lot lately, your short explanation of it has been a whole lot clearer than the ones ive found... Watch the movie Cube, then wait for the upcoming movie Cube 2: Hypercube =)

Check out Alex Garland's (author of The Beach) second novel: Tesseract. The explanation is from that book. And the story of the book might improve on your understanding of hypercubes.
