Description
In this piece, I was inspired by the Thai-Legend of the "Naree Pon". When the Buddha would stop along his journey to meditate, certain plant pods from the surrounding jungle would instantly grow and mature, revealing the mythic plant based female maidens of nature. They would sing and delight in the Bodhisattva's presence and later die on the vine after his departure.
