Description
I credited HeRaZa for the tattoos, but I want to clarify that in case anyone goes to the store looking for them. (Because I flatter myself to think that you'd actually want them - I did them my little ol' self)
I tried my hand at tats in Photoshop tonight. I loaded up the M4 seam guide I got at Daz, and used HeRaZa's Victor texture which has some tattoos (which I love, and which you should buy) as a kind of reference to see how tats are supposed to go. Kind of a backwards engineering thing as a learning experience. Found some free tribal tattoo brushes around the internet and just slapped them on. Went back and forth from PS to Poser a few times till I got what I wanted. Never really done it before, but it's not too terribly hard.
Obviously I didn't go for realism like HeRaZa's textures. Mine are just flat black painted on. But you get the idea.
So many indirect thanks to HeRaZa whose products continue to be beautiful and useful in new ways. My recommendation is the sexy Leo package. Meeeeow.
And, of course, big hugs and kisses for Pixeluna who created the most gorgeous facial morphs for M4 ever made in the whole wide world - Jacob. (Go get him in the freebies section). While you're at it, you straight weirdos should check out her store for some saucy gal stuff. For the boys who like boys, she's got some great pose packs that are just what you need. Many are for M4 and V4, but I've been using them for two M4's and very little tweaking is needed. Great stuff! I recommend the Movie Poses package. Lots of sexy stuff in there.
So here's Jake with some tats. (When you've played with him as much as I have you're allowed to call him "Jake" instead of Jacob. Also, he's my boyfriend so I can do whatever I want. I think it's legal to marry a digital character in Japan, so I'll be moving there soon.)
I don't have tattoos myself because I change my mind too often and don't want to do anything that permanent. But they look sexy on some guys.
SOME guys, mind you. You know who you are. You're the 23 year old gymnasts with rock hard abs and bedroom eyes. If you're 65 years old and weigh 600 pounds, step away from the tattoo parlor and no one will have to die tonight.
Speaking of Jacob, Taylor Lautner just turned 18, so all you Midwestern Housewives and lonely sissy Marys can all stop being civil and secretive and start saying your dirty fantasies out loud. He's legal.
Yes. We love him. And now that he's 18 we can love him in every state, not just Alabama and Mississippi.
By the way, if you're on Facebook - kindly stop playing Farmville and Mafia Wars and whatever else you waste your time with. We're tired of our pages being blocked up with your stupid achievements every fifteen seconds. Seriously. It's not cute anymore. It's really pissing us off. All of us. Even God. And He knows where you live.
Just thought I'd bring that up. Get a little cross-referencing in.
I tagged this for nudity because more skin is showing than "would be visible without a swimsuit". I'm gambling...AGAIN...that I'm interpreting those rules correctly.
That is all.
Carry on.

Great looking render, Rob. I enjoy reading your rants and musings, got to say you're a straightforward person but that's a good character trait, there's nothing better than being yourself. Back to your work, oooh look at that sly smile~ I wish Taylor could see your gallery, if only he knew... :-)

I'm actually a pretty funny, laid back guy in real life. But I guess every a-hole on the internet claims that. I'm certainly not a raging queen by any stretch of the imagination. I've been hamming it up here lately just for fun. Because let's face it...flaming queens are funny. No, no, let's not get all politically correct and play the victim here, folks. They're funny. Silly, campy, sometimes hysterically bitter, and sometimes flopping around polite society like a fish out of water. And that's funny. It's so amusing that they've made movies about it. "Pretty Woman" was a hit. So was "Crocodile Dundee". Fish out of water is comedy gold. As a card carrying homosexual I'm allowed to say that. It's in the rule book. I go a little silly on Renderosity because I'll never meet anyone here in real life. So it's safe to be silly here. Poke a little fun at people, poke a little fun at myself. Constantly poke fun of the ridiculous things my fellow gay citizens do in public...sometimes I see them parading around downtown in women's clothing, acting ridiculous, lisping to high heaven (which I just can't stand) and I wonder "what the hell are they thinking? No wonder everyone treats them like outcasts". I've found that if you act like a normal human being, no one cares what you do in the privacy of your own private life that should be private and not displayed in the street because it's private so keep it private. Crazy notion, I know. So I've been running with that theme the last post or two to amuse myself. Eventually someone will take it personally and get snarky. But that's what the internet is for, I guess: Snarkism. And I'm just in that mood lately. Also, seriously...you people out there need to knock that Facebook Farmville shit off. I wasn't kidding about that. It's inexcusable. Farmville's very existence anger the Lord.

And if Taylor Lautner ever did see my work, he would turn instantly gay, fall in love with me, move in, pay my rent, cook, clean, and wear a little sailor outfit while he scrubbed the kitchen floors with Johnson's Wax and sang Irish folks songs. Plus, he stand around a lot and ask me "Do these pants make my ass look less hot?" to which I'd reply "Yes. Stop wearing pants". That's my fanasty. You people go get your own. Mine's taken. I copyrighted it. (Jeez. That actually creeped ME out a little.)

These look great for a first try! If you ever have questions about creating tattos on skin, feel free to message me as I have done quite a few so far. :-)

Love your remarks on Taylor Lautner, lol. He was legal in my state too, except, of course, if you wanted to take pictures. Great render. You tempt me to make some tattoos now.

Niiiiice. Love the look on his face. And the write up is great - you go girl! Too damn much pissing and moaning go on when we should be laughing.

His tatts look great--even greater is how the light matches the background perfectly (and I love that underwater green, too). Plus I love that texture..well, I guess you might know that already;). Jacob is a cutie in your renders, even when a bit necromancery..necromantic? (Who is Taylor Lautner? I guess I need to google him..or maybe not. Justin Bieber is already busy crashing Photobucket, and I am too old for any of them!)
