Succès dont l'aboutissement est, aujourd'hui, la publication de cette deuxième anthologie des meilleurs textes de Richard Matheson. On y retrouvera ce mélange particulier de fantastique et de science-fiction, de terreur et d'insolite, qui est le propre de Matheson, puisque ce sont là toutes les gammes sur lesquelles il s'est toujours plu à jouer. On y retrouvera aussi ses prodigieuses facultés de conteur, cette diversité des thèmes, cet éclectisme dans le choix des techniques narratives dont il a toujours fait preuve. Matheson, comme l'a dit un critique américain, c'est « le frisson à l'état pur ». Et son oeuvre est un grand moment de littérature moderne de l'imaginaire. Un moment que cet ouvrage a pour rôle de perpétuer. In 1974, appeared in this macabre collection The Worlds of Richard Matheson, volume met with great success among fans. And the sun is in the middle to shine it's great light in all the corners of time, exposing all the secrets Time has held for so long. Marvelous work .. and now I have to find some books by Richard Matheson, I don't recall having read anything by him before.
