Description
The Zwoggle became dizzy for a moment, and all grew dim. Then suddenly he was standing next to one of the great docks used by his people for their airships. Ships that were used to fly about the Elemental Plain Of Air to bring Zwoggles and supplys to the floating islands that were used as way places for the Fairy Folk in their long flights.
But now the docks lay bare. In fact, they were the only things to be seen, other than barren earth and stone. Billy began to walk inland. Past where the great warehouse had once stood. Many times his parents had told him of the beautiful stone walls of this structure. Walls built and carved by the Dwarves of incredible Khaland themselves. And they'd also told him of the fantastic tiles made by the Elves of Arrochar. Tiles of every pattern imaginable. But all that he found was a bit of bare stone and a small patch of floor.
And it was then that Billy Donald Zwiggle The 18th felt anger for the first time in his three thousand five hundred seventeen years. No, not anger, but rage. Rage at what had been done to this once fair and thriving island. And rage at the exile of his people. And rage at what had been taken from his beautiful Leena, Leena who is now the Love Fairy. He began to walk past the ruins, to where he knew the fortress to be.
And in an hours time, he stood before the concrete walls that sat where his parents had once held court as the king and queen of the Zwoggles. On the walls were markings in an alphabet that he was not familiar with, as well as an image of some kind of bird. But even the bird was like all else, devoid of life, dead. With a shake of his head, he entered the gates and found that the fortress was nothing more than four walls, a small room tucked away in the corner, a tank of some kind atop it. And standing like a statue at the center of a shallow pit was Prince Miles in his black armor. The armor was as bleak and lifeless as the skies above them. As he strode through the gates The Black Prince stirred.
