This is for Schonee who gifted me her beautiful Kyra. I wanted to do a close up to show her beautiful face but could not resist making a bit more room to include my favorite critters... raven and dragon.
I wanted a unique wood elf look for her so again I enhanced her face with makeup and designs from LM which I find work so well with Kyra.
Trust... it can very hard to give in this mean old world but it is a critical step to love. It is inate to us all. It is probably the first "emotion" that we all experience as babies when we bond with our moms and dads. And it is trust that let's us grow into friendships later in life.
So naturally vital is it that it is shared by virtually all the animal kingdom that gives live births and by birds. It is the glue that lets our pets bond with us and become our beloved fur babies and feather friends. I suspect dragons, being the intelligent creatures of legend that they are, would also learn to trust us - although perhaps at first with a touch of trepidation.
Here I try to capture a bit of that magical moment.

Wow, it's nice to see such details, Roxy. I took a long look at it and with so many details, I could tell you've spent quite some time with this work (as always with your other creations). I really like the tattoo on her face, and I can't help but notice the stained glass windows on the background~ love those windows. A nice, beautiful render of Kyra a la brewgirlca style.

Fine detail is right, this one is filled with it Roxy! I've studied it closely several times trying to take it all in. This closeup really is wonderful and has such a gentle feel to it as there seems to be trust all around here. Speaking of that your thoughts on trust were really touching and well spoken.

I like this Roxy. The posing is well done - very natural looking, which is not always easy to achieve. Even the intent look on the woman's face looks very natural and alive. The shrubbery is an excellent touch and adds nicely to the message behind the image I think. Even the crow pose came out well. It looks as though he is intently watching this interaction between the woman and dragon. Nicely done.
