Oh, this is just beautiful! Amazing that the hail ripped the top of of the plant, yet the delicate blooms were spared...thankfully!!! I just LOVE the blue of these flowers. I don't think we have them here in New Hampshire...so it's a treat to see them.

When I had a family of 12 Greek tortoises, (which I had for ther best pat of 40 years) they ate as many of these as we could gather each day as a special treat to supplement the lettuce and tomatoes and porridge!

they are beautiful as your capture.the "blue bonnet" flower is the state flower for Texas, but they are very different than blue bells
