Description

The trees and shrubs here in Southeast Alaska are beginning to respond to the gorgeous warm and sunny weather of the last week or so. In this case, a wild blueberry is coming alive again. It's been several months of gray sky and white ground around here, and it was so heartening to find flashes of color today in the forest.

I can feel this...spring warming its roots... sun urging the budding. Wonderful capture.
