Mona looks so sweet and I do understand her. No fun in a rainy street.

Is that a sensible raincoat I see her wearing? A real insight into the miseries of having to wee outdoors.

A rather bleak scene. She looks lost and alone. Very well done. Glad to know this little dog was just out for a quick stroll.

It's a dog's life, I'll bet he found a warm spot with a good supper after this. Thanks for sharing this!!

What marvelous atmoshpere and image of poor Mona! My dogs look just as pathetic when made to go in the rain for "technical" reasons. However, if one whispers "rabbit", they are out in flash no matter if the rain is so heavy one could drown just by looking up. And I too want to know about what looks to be a very practical and proper rain coat!! I have not seen anything like it here.

When I returned to rosity a few weeks back, it took me a few weeks to get to everyone (regrettably), and getting to you was an anticipated event for me, because you teach me the world about photography & seeing, and you keep doing it everytime. Here, you're certainly known for your texture shots and magnificent juxtapositions, but each time one sees your beautiful human & animal captures, one is reminded how fine you are with them as well. As an off-the-cuff capture, this is wonderfully caught, Mona looking a bit forlorn and staying close to shelter (as I would be doing). But as a capture of living beings in the midst of life, it's peerless, because she is wholly involved in her thoughts, as is the passerby in the background; they're at opposite ends of the walkway; and the music of your other details---including the textures and the reds, grays, greens, etc, is pure Nikolay. A beautiful moody capture, quirky & funny for Mona, and a slice of humanity on a cold rainy day, meandering into a bright distant light that is also, somehow, you. Very finely done Nikolay, as always.

I've seen this picture numerous times and I'm finally commenting on it. I love it. Mona is such a cooperative model and I love Andrea's comment about the sensible raincoat and insights into needing the great outdoors in order to facilitate certain urinary necessities. I love the mood of this picture, as well as the glimpse into a place I'd love to settle into and live in for a while. The whole look of it is just up my alley! What really grabs me is the display window featuring nothing less than a massive impact event! I recognize the image as one featured in Carl Sagan's book Comet as an illustration of...well...a massive collision. Any place with that in the window is a place I'd love. Hmmm...maybe you captured a small cafe run by expatriate Nemaeans? One never knows!
