Description

From my Star Trek collection, and from A Star Trek universe, here's Star Fleet Headquarters in Earth orbit. The ship designs are from the Star Fleet Battles universe series of games from many, many years ago and which some very kind person re-created for Poser users. To that very kind person I say "Thank You".

From a lifelong 'Trekker'...brilliant! and T.O.S is unbeatable. It's great to see how fictional things evolve through our life, but Sean Connory was the best 'Bond' and 'J.T Kirk' was the best Enterprise Captain. The best Enterprise ? I always liked 1701-A , but my favourite S.T ship will always be the Klingon Bird of Prey.

These are all based on the work of Franz Joseph Designs and appeared in the Star Trek Star Fleet Academy Technical Manual. A pioneering book unlike anything before it, setting the framework for a new sub-genre. Look quickly at the new TREK film and you'll see the orbittal Star Fleet structure is an homage to this design.
