Description
A new planet, or star, perhaps the first signs of life in outer space? No, it's my son's kite!! This is another scanned foto, a shot I took directly into the sun (and my camera lived to tell the tale). I remember this day clearly--Jordan was about 6, and we spent hours with this kite, it simply flew and soared and we had what seemed like miles and miles of kite string let out. Simple pleasures!!

The memorable line from Star Wars. Cool postwork in this endeavor, Maz; I would have never guessed it was originally a kite. And it does look like a foto of the deep edges of outer space, with a huge fuzzy wuzzy nuclear blast or supernova to brighten things up a bit.

This is amazing! When I first looked at the thumbnail I thought it was some bizarre high-altitude shot looking ever more upward...or maybe you'd just mounted your camera to a telescope and shot a pic of something way the heck out there. I really like this quite a lot. It's stunning, spectacular and so incredibly rich! This is the kind of thing space artists would use as a background, and that little bitty kite, way up there, actually has the look of something high tech. This is fantastic. Another favorite!
