As Bruce Springsteen used to sing, I was (sing out loud) "born in Châlons sur Marne" .
Where is Châlons sur Marne? Nowhere anymore. You'll find this town by looking for Châlons en Champagne. This may sound better to locate me. I still live in this area, but fifty kilometers away, in a small village. And as for the champagne I harvested many times and I must admit that I was not efficiant enough: I drank almost as much as I picked. :-o
I am a state employee but I am also a 28mm-miniature painter and I have been practicing with DAZÂ Studio for about two years. In fact I am a colorist. I can't draw. And I am also turning into a pose maker which I can't do with miniatures.
My member name comes from a name that came to my mind when I first saw the image of a fairy sat on a book by Neyjour. I invented myself a story for this fairy. She was in charge with a human baby and that baby grew up. I used to have a gallery under that baby's name, but now I am beginning a new one. You might see nudity in my gallery. You should know that I own my wife's approval to render and show you such pictures. As long as our two young children can't see any pornography.
(I hope my English is not too bad. I usually write in French when I'm commenting your images)
Merci de votre visite.

A well composed forest scene! I know that when you use lots of flowers and plants raytracing can take forever to render! But it is often worth the wait! You had a very nice result! Great work!

beautiful image, wonderful lighting

A wonderful scene. The whole thing is just like a photo.

Really nice scene and atmosphere. Great character, lighting and background! Very well done.

A nice scene with convincing light! The angle of the light beams corresponds very well with the light on her legs - great work!

Two and a half hours is not that much of a render time. Half a day or more than 24 hours is possible also. Just be patient. A good picture, by the way Deux et demi, ce n'est pas beaucoup d'un temps de rendre, quand une demi-journée ou plus de 24 heures est également possible. Pacience. D'ailleurs, un bon dessin.

Excellent image!

Two hours and a half is a long time when you start rendering at 23:15, your wife is already in bed and you have to wake up at 6:30. Two hours and a half is also a very long time for my new iMac. I guess if I delete the bush and use no raytraced light, the image will be rendered in less than five minutes. But shadows will be less deep. Thanks for commenting.

C'est une image fantastique que vous avez créée. Les bois ont l'air d'être un endroit dangereux. Je crois que la dame est préparée au problème.
