Description

Siberlee (Mernac #1) I have finally decided to go back to my Mernac project (mythical fantasy world building project) after quite a hiatus. You will probably see a number of high fantasy images being submitted by me (with an accompanying story) over the next few months. The first had to be Siberlee, the Mother of Nature and all that is Good. I have actually tried Siberlee many times over the years... most no one saw but me ... I just was not satisfied with them. This one is not perfect... but it does, however capture some of the magical or goddess like quality the others just did not have... I hope. If you are interested in Siberlee and her Bio, you can find it here: Siberlee V4 - my Candy morph and texture. (loosely based on DAZ elite stuff). What took the time here was the lighting and the post work (CS3). Forgive the small size (the original is 6000 px square) ¢ï¿½ï¿½ but IMHO the image ¢ï¿½ï¿½works¢ï¿½ï¿½ with the high saturation and I have come to find that when I reduce a Jpeg (especially when I upload to Rendy)the fist thing affected is the saturation... and often it looks more washed out than intended.. So I have uploaded it at 100%... but that only gives us 750. In any case, I hope you like her. Rick Edit - darn - still a bit more washed out here than the original.

Not having seen the original I would say the saturation looks pretty darn good here. There is an overt painted feel to this imagery which makes it feel more organic. If you want to bump up the saturation I highly recomend Adam Wrights Dynamic Mood Actions (just the CS actions not the lighting that comes with it). Try especially combinations of Evening Glow, Enhanced, and Fantasy and underlay them with Sharp. They come out in layers so you can scale back their intensity.
