Description

Birdy est un film américain réalisé par Alan Parker, sorti en 1984. Deux amis d'enfance reviennent de la guerre du Viêt Nam marqués à jamais : Birdy entame un long séjour à l'hôpital et ne sort plus de son mutisme. Prostré, isolé, il passe des heures à fixer le ciel et à rêver de pouvoir voler comme un oiseau. Son ami Al, qui a perdu son visage dans cette guerre, décide alors d'entrer dans son jeu pour l'aider à s'évader... Birdy is a film directed by Alan Parker, released in 1984. Two childhood friends come back from the Vietnam War marked forever: Birdy begins a long hospital stay and never goes out of his silence. Grief, isolation, he spent hours staring at the sky and dream to fly like a bird. His friend Al, who lost his face in this war, then decided to enter his game to help him escape j'ai de suite pensé à ce film en réalisant cette image ! I have not seen the movie, but I can get the feelings you have captured here. I too see it as one on the inside, trapped in his mind, in his dreams .. the other on the outside .. there is a saying .. when we have broken our wings, friends help us fly .. Beautiful work capturing the sentiment of the film

I'm not familiar with the movie but from your description it sounds quite heart wrenching. I can see why it would spark the memory of the movie. For me, I see a parrot quite clearly. Very beautiful.
