Description

*Edit* FINALLY adjusted the quality! Enjoy! Yet another piece done for Warcraft. This time, based on the lore of Prince Arthas Menethil and his fall, becoming monstrous the Lich King. I have always admired the relationship between he and his beloved friend, Jaina Proudmoore. This is based on a pivotal moment in Warcraft 3 as he believes he must massacre his own innocent people in order to save them from the plague of undeath. Thus, he turns his back on the holy Light to which he serves, his family, his people, and his beloved Jaina, walking in a path of darkness forever... Now, I know you've seen my previous portrait but you can consider it a rough draft if ya like! I wanted something dramatic and I always saw this in my head as I played this campaign. Maybe not the black background (yes, I've been stuck on black backgrounds lately lol) but I find the contrast striking and appropriate.
