Description

Hello. Start my holiday series with a second highest mountain in New Zealand, north island. Mt Egmont. Famous from its almost perfect cone shape standing 1518m high. Actually this mountain is a dormant volcano. Erupted in 1955 last, never since. Researchers say it is 'overdue'. Unfortunetaly when we were there this majestic mountain was sitting in the clouds. So much for the nice sunny clear sky holiday postcard but I still like the view. Stay tune if you interested, more to come. seeya

Fine shot of the overdue volcano as it pokes its peak above the low hanging clouds, Tunde! The wonderful image looks like a painting.

Bright sunny days can be a little dull... This shot shows the full character of the mountain.
