I been playin my guitar for over 40 years now..Chet has always been a big inspiration..I especially love his playing with Jerry Reed and Les Paul..A fine bit of admiration indeed!!

Yes, Mister Guitar and also named CGP ( certified guitar player)and the Country Gentleman... I have an original 1965 Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman signature guitar and it is a beauty and plays like a dream, Yes he was my guitar hero, And I believe he is holding a Gibson guitar in this image...Chet and Gretsch got into a little tussle and he withdrew from letting Gretsch use his signature, But evidently his family let gretsch use Chet's name again after his death because there are remakes of the 6122 Chet Atkins country gentleman signature again recently. Nice of you to post this, THANKS !! [^___^] Cheers, Roger
