Description
The magnolia seed pod is so pretty when its full of seeds. I wasn't abel to capture a full one, but thought this was pretty anyway.

I remember a Magnolia tree on the playground of my elementary school. We used to throw those pods at the girls. Got into trouble about that so we settled on just climbing the tree. Today's world would require the tree be cut down and foam rubber spread under a gym set only 3 feet high. To borrow a phrase from the comedian, I have this to say to today's whimps "GET A HELMET!" ... err this brought back memories.

In piu' di un'occasione ho fatto foto simili , ho in giardino una pianta enorme di magnolia ( bellissima quando ha tutti i fiori aperti ). Un bello scatto , il tuo , che ci riporta alla bella stagione ! In more than one occasion I have similar photos, I have in the garden a huge magnolia tree (beautiful when all the flowers open). A nice shot, your, that brings us back to summer!

As long as I have been around, I have never seen the seeds in the pods. This is lovely. Great capture!
