Description

Today, I learned that a friend of mine is being brought home from the hospital to die. Seven months ago, his wife passed away while they were on vacation. He will leave behind a 12-year-old daughter, his mother and grandmother. I am numb inside. I don't know what to do, what to say. This image is for him and his family. Goodbye my friend.

hugs My deepest sympathies to you and your friend's family. It's no easy thing to face the death of someone you care for, and so tragic when lives are cut short like that. It is a beautiful tribute to your friend.

I've been there and it's never easy. You don't say how close you are but you can visit him. Help him with his daughter and let him know that she will be all right. Laughter is always good. If appropriate, stand by him and help him as the end gets close. Follow your heart. I am so sorry.

My gosh Mike. How sad. I know how you feel as it is just a sense of helplessness when you cannot help the people you love and care for. Very nice tribute to your friend. My heart goes out to him and his entire family.

holy crap is the word,a 12 year old daughter he is young then and she was as well i suppose,and within this short time span a world falls to pieces.. this i gruesome i dont know this people but my thoughts are really there now. it must be devastating for the daughter,she has to be taken well care off the utmost priority i would say. and stand by his side. i am really really sorry .

So sorry to hear that. This is really hard. I know about my father, they brought him home from hospital to die. I was 13 years old. I will keep you and your friend and his family in my prayers.

Really sorry to hear this news Mike it is never easy to loose someone that you are close to.. I know I lost my best friend who I had known for 25 yrs just a couple of yrs ago, he died of cancer at home too. I spent a lot of days/hrs with him and his family and he was pleased I was there, and his family was too. I was there when he passed away and I officiated at his funeral which was a blessing to his family.. Just being there and supporting any way you can (if he lives close enough) is often all one can do often it just doing the little mundane things that make a difference..!!

My sincere condolences for your friend. To be going with a 12 year old daughter must be especially terrible for him, and hopefully he's had time to set his affairs in order. My unqualified advise would be to continue to stand by him and let him know that you're his friend. I wish you and your friend all the strength in the world during this trying time.

Why of my withdrawal of the first comment. Escuse me my friend. Yesterday evening I was very tired. And came of to teach to a bad news for me. My best friend since 45 years in turns over in its native province. But I know that do not remove your sorrows my friend. Mortality and those which go towards death in silence. Which ungrateful moments for a person.
