Description

After a long climb up a mountain with pristine springs and babbling brooks, water falls, and bridges, I came upon this Cantonese Temple dating back to 1200 AD. Built during the Ming Dynasty, the Buddhist Temple features a long white dragon on the staircase and this black dragon at the head of the stairs. The Black and White dragons symbolize the balance of all things, the Yin and Yan. Light and Dark. Ancient temples were built upon places thought to have bad vibrations, a form of Geomancy where good things are placed in bad places and bad things, like government buildings are placed in good places, to balance out the negative and positive forces. Thanks fort your comments, enjoy.
