Excellent shot! I like the tree in foreground. It gives it a sense of scale.

Nice shot Marilyn...heck this could easily pass for a sky scraper anywhere. How about Chicago? :)

And a peach tree, I presume. Like there is a Peachtree Street in Atlanta. Another fine crick-in-the-neck, falling-over-backwards shot, Marilyn, this one depicting an awesome blue-purple edifice soaring into the heavens.

Whenever I see images like this (and as I write this, I've just posted one) I think of the Tarot Card: The Tower. I always think of that card whenever I see corporate shapes like this--giant, angular phallic symbols, piercing the sky as if to do naughty things. This is a gorgeous image, however, stark in the contrasts that are so evident. There's a tree: something natural and alive, and then there's this corporate nest. In many ways it is alive and as natural, but its purpose is different, and that's where the contrast becomes jarring. It's as if nature has been overtaken. Having said all of this, it is a beautiful image and it really evokes all sorts of good feelings in me...I think it's the clean geometric lines and the fractal vivacity of that tree. As always, I love the colors, the cool blues, the vivid greens and that almost reddish-tinged gray. This is fantastic.
