Description

Looking from afar the city is a pattern of lights in an ocean of darkness. But what if each of those lights is something more than a tiny shining dot? Is there a waiting? A hope? A longing for you to see that light and come safely home? A most unexpected picture. One of those precious ones that are emerging almost like a random stroke but suddenly taking the complexity and depth unforseen. It is simple but somehow I treasure it a lot. Technical notes. V4 with Morphia and Morphs, Far Journeyer (Will Dupre, DAZ3D), Octagonal Lantern (JaneB, ShareSG), Cloud Skies (Kerya, Renderosity Freestuff), Rogue Red Returns (Frances Coffill and Sequestrian, DAZ3D), Arizona Hair (3DUniverse, DAZ3D) I used Uberpoint light and Light Dome Pro II, one of moonlight presets, to render the light in one pass (in contrary to my usual multipassing) because I wanted to create a believable blend of lantern and night illumination and separate layer blending wasn't sufficiently good for that. There was a lot of work on background to match the light (light, saturation, contract and opacity correction layers, total about seven), plus added city lights and stars with simple scatter brush. Hope you enjoyed the picture. Thank you :)
