Description

Here are two more pics of the CAF's old Mitsubishi(actually built by Nakajima)A6M2 Zero. The outside shot is from the 1990s Houston airshow while the hangar shot is even earlier from the 1980s taken at Harlingen, Texas. As I mentioned on the "Real Deal Zero" post, this plane was in flying condition, but maintanence challenges finally grounded it. The CAF sold it and acquired their current flying AM63 Zero.

Sorry if I haven't visited your gallery recently. It has been difficult to sit at the computer more than a few minutes the past few weeks due to my knee injury. It is feeling better and I'll be by soon!

The inside shot isn't too great for all the usual reasons like lack of light and me not opening up the f-stop. The print was quite grainy, but running it thru NeatImage made it fuzzy. Anyway, the hangar is cool with all the nose art.
