Description
A little Glen Campbell (Wichita Lineman) here to go along with number two and last of this miniseries, featuring the hard working repairman, ensconced in his bucket, contributing to our power needs.
Captured 2/11/10, early in the AM, within walking distance of my recalcitrant residence.
A ZOOM will show the wires real good.
Before boarding the bucket, he told me to be careful of any loose wires lying on the ground while taking pictures, which was good advice because they were virtually the same color as the moist soil.
Arreviderci, and thankx for looking in.

Good advise from him. We like to see more great collages from you so don't get fried..lol. This mini series was interesting.

Could be an electrifying job for sure...I've seen a small gust of wind rattle one of those buckets with a guy in it...I would have not been enjoying myself up there at that time. lol

Not for the likes of me, I don't mind ladders but... Interesting pics.

Harry, bring Glen down and let's have him sing for us:) You must be known among all the service people in your area as that gent with the camera. If it moves, I know you'll shoot it and come up with a good collage for us. Well done.

Interesting collage. I took particular notice of the second photo with the glass insulators on the crossarm. Those are becoming a rare sight these days. I have most of them in my basement, I think LOL! (I collect insulators) Nice series of photos!

Nice collage...I sure wish he was up here in NH helping the thousands of people who are still without power from Thursday night's storm...they're saying that some won't have power until the end of next week....ugh. Fortunately we have power, but just a mile up the road, some of our family doesn't. Thank God for generators!

I bet Glen never saw the inside of one of these..back then they probably didn't have the buckets to work in..

That is one job you would never , ever get me to do. Number one I am terrified of heights. Number two those wires are live( not memorex). Great collage, and I am glad to see you didn't run into any wires.

Excellent shots; that's one job I'd be really scared to tackle!
